Gabo Guzzo is an interdisciplinary artist, writer and designer based in London. His work centres on the creation of one-of-a-kind sculptural handbags, developed at the intersection of art, design and fine jewellery, and handcrafted in close collaboration with master artisans in Italy.
His practice is guided by a belief in responsible making and a slower, more meaningful approach to luxury and artistic creation.
Every Gabo Guzzo handbag features distinctive elements that make it unique. These may include custom colours, carefully selected leathers, hand-painted details or the character of a gemstone. Exquisitely made in Italy, each handbag is individually numbered and hand-signed by both the artist and the artisan who crafted it.
Alongside his core practice, Gabo Guzzo offers a bespoke service that allows collectors to commission handbag creations through a collaborative process, resulting in pieces that reflect personal stories, values and ways of life.
Care, also inside. Each handbag is meticulously lined with soft leather. An engraved metal plate bears the artist’s signature and the unique number of the creation.
